AppearanceJohn stands at about six feet tall, an average height for someone of Djinn decent like him. With a lean build that comes with years of climbing up stairs, and of course any type of sport that involves high energy John is slightly muscled with not too wide shoulders and skin that has a natural sun kissed tan that comes from his Arabian heritage and being in the sunlight. His hair is a dark brown color that is full and soft, always left windswept and free since he hates having it cut short...or proper. His eyes are a dark gray color, only noticeable in the light and appearing as if they glow with warm fire. They dark when he is angered, or grow more intense when excited or passionate about something. Of course they always hold a glint to them, as if he is thinking of something or plotting a prank.
Though he is seventeen some mistake him to be in his early twenties, and it will most likely remain that way because of his blood. His style of dress is laid back and casual, with his favorite colors being earth tones or dark in general. Usually, he is wearing black shirts with jeans that have holes in the knees or black shirts with checkered shirts over them. He likes converse shoes..and really dislikes dressing in uniforms, which is why his school uniform is usually altered in some way to fit him. John is also a very attractive young man, with his face and build he is popular with some of the women in his school...and a few select boys.
Personality
John is an intelligent young man with a laid back personality. He tends to hate order, preferring to be more free with his style and try to be himself. Though a bit of a maker, John is very kind hearted and caring towards those he deems need help or the kindness. Towards his family and friends he is extremely loyal, especially towards his twin sister Phillipa whom he has a deeper connection with. Not saying he always likes her though, like when she insults his intelligence because he hates using big words in a conversation..or Latin. They argue often, and he is glad they are not identical since that would be a nightmare.
He isn't humble...well very. As a Marid Djinn, John has inherited the weakness of vanity. Give him a compliment on his looks and he'll grin, and be strutting like he owns the place and give him criticism and he'll be angry with that person for days..which will involve a few pranks for revenge. It is best to keep on his good side...He is proud of his Djinn heritage, and when told he could become a Djinn instead of just a magician he was determined to make his mother proud and do it. He wishes to become the next head of the Marid clan, like his mother was.
Though many don't know it, John hates mentioning his father is wealthy and that he goes to private school since many of his friends aren't wealthy..and to be honest he thinks his father loves possessions more than him and Phillipa...

John frowned, feeling a cold gaze on him..and not cold as in anger, but more of an actual chill lingered in the air. Slowly, he glanced around, hands in his jeans pocket as he tried to look inconspicuous to anyone. Honestly, he'd been on the run from magicians. The damn House of Life wanted him captured, and he refused to let them take him. By laws of their world he was a magician, so one would think they'd be nicer. Nervous he ran a hand through his hair.. "Is anyone here?" he asked quietly, and tensing for someone to jump him.
